KarMaelly: TAKE ME TO : LITTLE MEELUP BEACH

Souvent je rêvais de soirée au bord de la plage, d'un couché de soleil à couper le souffle, d'une personne avec qui partager tout ça. Je rêvais et ce jour est arrivé.

I always dreamt of nights on the beach, watching the sunset, felling the sand between my toes, something breathtaking, someone I could share it with. I was dreaming and this day finally happened.

Little meelup beach in Dunsborough, c'est l'endroit que l'on a choisi avec Fabien pour passer la nuit. On ne savais pas vraiment ou on allais, bien sur on avait une carte de la région, les points clé et les routes notées dessus, mais on à décidé de rouler et de s'arrêter là ou l'on se sentirais bien. C'est quand on s'est garé sur le parking de la plage, quand j'ai vu ces couleurs (dont les photos ne rendent pas vraiment justice malheureusement) que je me suis dit "c'est là".

Little meelup beach in Dunsborough, this is the place Fabien and I choose to spend the night. We didn't really knew where we were going, of cours we had a map with all the good places on it, and how to get there, but we decided to keep driving until we found somewhere where we will feel good. It's when we pulled over on the parking lot of the beach, when I saw all those colors (that doesn't comes out really good on the pictures) that I told myself "this is it".

D'ailleurs Fabien devais en avoir marre de moi parce que j'ai du répéter au moins 50 fois que c'était "incroyable, magique, magnifique, à couper le souffle, que j'adorais" enfin vous voyez quoi.

I'm pretty sure that I was pissing him off because I kept saying that this place was "so cool, incredible, magic, breathtaking, that I loved it.." well you see what I mean.

Fabien s'est presque directement mis à chercher du bois pendant que je sautais de rocher en rocher, que je courais sur le sable, que je prenais un nombre incalculable de photos, vidéos en tout genre. Je voulais pouvoir me rappeler ce moment toute ma vie, avec des images pour me réchauffer le coeur. C'était mes premiers jours en Australie, surement pas un quart de ce que je vais vivre, et pourtant vous n'imaginez pas a quel point j'était heureuse ce jour là.

J'ai ensuite aidé Fabien a ramener de quoi faire un feu, il avais organisé des pierres en cercle pour notre petit feu de camp, et au préalable nous avions fais quelques courses pour la soirée.

Au menu : des carottes et du houmous, on avais pas si faim que ça, et bien sur de la bière et du vin, enfin de quoi passer une belle soirée, accompagnée de musique tout aussi agréable.

Fabien almost directly began to look for some wood while I was jumping from one rock to another, running in the sand. I was taking so many pictures and videos that night. I wanted to be able to remember this all my life, with pictures that could help me remind me how beautiful it was. Those were my first days in Australia, certainly not a fraction of what i'm going to see during my journey but you can't imagine how happy I was this day.

Then, I helped Fabien to find wood for the campfire we were making, he already had put rocks together in circle to create this perfect fire that warmed us up all night long. We already bought some groceries.

We had : Carrots and Hummus, we were not that hungry and of cours some beer and some wine, everything we needed to have a good night, with some god music as well.

Je n'ai même pas de photos de l'environnement autour tellement je n'avais d'yeux que pour ce paysage. J'avais enfin compris pourquoi j'étais en Australie, et j'étais reconnaissante d'avoir pu rencontrer Fabien et qu'il m'ai permise de voir cette magnifique plage. On y a passé la nuit, et au petit matin c'était tout aussi beau, malheureusement vers 10h il s'est mis a pleuvoir et nous avons donc repris la route, direction la maison, mais rouler dans de tels endroit est quelque chose de tout aussi excitant que de trouver un spot tel que celui-ci.

I didn't even took pictures of the place around the beach as I was staring at the ocean the whole time. I finally understood why I was in Australia, and I was grateful for that. For meeting Fabien, that he took my with him to this place. We spend the whole night there and even in the morning it was amazing, waking up with the sound of the waves. Unfortunately it began to rain around 10 a.m. so we hit the road back to home, but driving in such beautiful places was as exciting as finding a spot like this.
